Today Susan (a woman I work with) came in with this cutie in a box. Steve said that it’s a female, and I think that Susan has decided to call her Michelle. Isn’t she adorable!
This morning Susan went out on her front porch and low and behold Michelle was scuttling around in the front yard! So, she put her in a box and brought her to work for Steve to take home, since his family already has several.

I have a female turtle named “Scott”. It’s a red eared slider (aquatic). Found out it was female when it started laying eggs in the summer (regardless of no fertilization). Otherwise it’s hard to tell; I’ve heard short tails and claws are signs of a female.
